Urban Horticulture Symposium

The Urban Horticulture Symposium will be held Nov. 7, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Western Heritage Museum, 1 Thunderbird Circle.

Come learn about gardening in Southeast New Mexico! The five southeast Cooperative Extension Offices and their Extension Master Gardener volunteers have teamed up to bring you this regional event. There will be speakers on beekeeping, tree care, lawn maintenance, gardening with native plants, plus a plant sale, informational booths, and plant bingo! Online registration available!

Wildland Fire Exchange

The Wildland Fire Exchange will be held Apr. 20 - 22, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. CST, Konza Prairie Biological Station, Konza Meeting Hall, 150 Konza Prairie Lane.

The Exchange will consist of a two-and-a-half day professional development event for Extension personnel as well as other agricultural professionals from across the country. Online registration available! Fee is $200; payable via credit card only. Deadline: Apr. 16.
