Free program for communities in Southern NM that is designed to better understand diet quality and knowledge related to nutrition and chronic disease and cancer prevention. Requirements: Participants must be 18 years or older; able to read and write in Spanish; have access to a phone and internet; able to attend all six classes; and do not have a current diabetes diagnosis. Caring for a loved one with cancer can be emotionally and physically overwhelming - and you don’t have to do it alone. Offered to adult caregivers, a confidential space to connect, reflect, and learn coping strategies to support their own wellbeing.
