The Live Your Dream Applications are now open!
Undergraduate female students who are the primary wage earner/source of financial support for their families (including children, spouse, siblings, and parents) are encouraged to apply! Students from the Las Cruces campus, as well as branch campuses, may apply.
The award can be used for tuition, books, transportation, child care, or any other expense associated with completing an undergraduate degree. Eight awards ranging from $1,500 to $2,500 will be given.

The Teaching Garden is open for guided tours, Monday - Sunday, sunrise to sunset, Fabian Garcia Science Center, 113 West University Avenue.
Visitors may take a self-guided tour through the quarter-acre garden. Or guided tours are available by making a reservation. Tours are free, thanks to a generous contribution from the garden’s namesake, Amy Goldman-Fowler.
A Special Presentation will be held Oct. 27, 4:30 to 7 p.m., Pan American Center, Barbara Hubbard Room.
Music Producer, Steve Dixon, has worked in the entertainment industry for 29 years. As the chief executive officer at Roadwerx, he has extensive experience in event production and leadership. He has served as a show producer, tour director and creative producer. He designed the concert experience for Aerosmith's residency in Las Vegas and has produced shows for Jonas Brothers, Kylie Minogue, Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake, Shakira, Guns N’ Roses, and others. Event is free and open to the public!
Poster Boards are available to rent for all occasions and sites on the main NMSU Campus.
Online ordering available! Rental fee is $25 per board and includes delivery, setup, and removal.

The Pre-Diabetes GLP-1 Classes will be held Wednesdays, Oct. 29 - Feb. 25, 9 to 10 a.m.

The yearlong lifestyle-change program will help you decrease your risk for type 2 diabetes and maintain weight loss. Class is designed for people with prediabetes or those who have not been diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes.

The NM Food Protection Alliance Conference will be held Nov. 5, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Bernalillo County Community Health Center, 2400 Wellesley Drive NE.
The conference provides activities that are designed to help form a state-wide network to help protect the food supply against security threats ranging from foodborne illnesses, food supply disruptions, and agroterrorism. Free to attend with limited capacity.

Held on Thursday nights, your evening starts in the Bobby Lee Lawrence Academy of Wine at 6 p.m. moving into 100 West Café at 6:30 p.m. for the five course meal with specially paired wines.
