The Therapeutic Support Group for Cancer Patient Caregivers will be held weekly, Mar. - Apr., 5 to 6:30 p.m., In-Person at the Family Resource Center, 4145 Sam Steel Way, 200 Cervantes C-100. Or online via Zoom.
Caring for a loved one with cancer can be emotionally and physically overwhelming - and you don’t have to do it alone. Offered to adult caregivers, a confidential space to connect, reflect, and learn coping strategies to support their own wellbeing.

This is not a drop-in support group. A brief intake/screening is required prior to joining and space is limited. Facilitated by a Marriage and Family Therapy intern and supervised by a licensed practitioner.
The Garden to Table to Pantry Workshop, Peppers, will be held Apr. 6 and 20, 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., Loma Colorado Library, 755 Loma Colorado Blvd NE.
Learn to grow, prepare, and preserve peppers. Free plants, food samples, and delicious recipes will be provided. Workshop is free and open to the public!

The NMRC (NM Reforestation Center) Groundbreaking will be held Apr. 27, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Mora Agricultural Experiment Station, 547 NM-518.
The official groundbreaking and major milestone in NMRC's mission, as its first nursery facility, to produce five million climate-adapted native seedlings annually by 2030, supporting forest restoration and watershed resilience across NM.

The AgriFuture Conference will be held June 15 - 17 at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Arts Center, 2401 12th Street NW.
Conference aims to connect, inform, and inspire the next generation of farmers, ranchers, and others in agriculture. There will be agricultural off-campus tours for experiential learning, educational speakers, industry networking sessions, and speed-networking rounds designed to connect you to industry professionals. Fee is $75; includes tours and meals.
