The Kitchen Creations for the Luna County (Deming) will be held Wednesdays, Mar. 19, 26; Apr. 9 and Thursday, Apr. 3, 5 to 7:30 p.m., New Mexico Department of Health, 1510 South Slate Street.
The free diabetes classes will be taught in a 4-part series. Participants are encouraged to attend all four classes. Online registration available!

The AgrAbility Training will be held Mar. 24 - 27, NM Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum, 4100 Dripping Springs Road.
The training addresses issues of disability in agriculture. Professionals and consumers will participate in plenary sessions, breakout tours, networking, and special events.
The Diabetes Prevention Program will be held Wednesdays, Mar. 26 - Sep. 17, 11:30 a.m., online via Zoom.
The program will help decrease the risk of type 2 diabetes by leading a healthy lifestyle. It is free and open to NMSU employees; participants must be 18 years of age or older. Insurance not required. Class is designed for people with prediabetes or those who have not been diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
The Pre-Diabetes GLP-1 Classes will be held Wednesdays, Mar. 26 - Feb. 25, 9 to 10 a.m.
Are you currently taking a GLP-1 medication? Join the National Diabetes Prevention Program. The yearlong lifestyle-change program will help you decrease your risk for type 2 diabetes and maintain weight loss. Class is designed for people with prediabetes or those who have not been diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes.

Featuring special mystery guest chefs! The night begins with a reception with specialty cocktails by guest mixologist and HRTM alumni, Patrick Abalos, and appetizers.
