The PSA (Produce Safety Alliance) Grower Training will be held June 24 - 25, 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., via Zoom.
Online registration available! Pay with credit card or P-Card only! Fee is $45: In-State, NM residents or $145: Out-of-State. Deadline: June 9 at 5 p.m. Registration is limited, register today!
Poster Boards are available to rent for all occasions and sites on the main NMSU Campus.
Online ordering available! Rental fee is $25 per board and includes delivery, setup, and removal.
The Diabetes Prevention Program will be held Wednesdays, June 25 - Sep. 17, 11:30 a.m., online via Zoom.
The program will help decrease the risk of type 2 diabetes by leading a healthy lifestyle. It is free and open to NMSU employees; participants must be 18 years of age or older. Insurance not required. Class is designed for people with prediabetes or those who have not been diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
The Pre-Diabetes GLP-1 Classes will be held Wednesdays, June 25 - Feb. 25, 9 to 10 a.m.
Are you currently taking a GLP-1 medication? Join the National Diabetes Prevention Program. The yearlong lifestyle-change program will help you decrease your risk for type 2 diabetes and maintain weight loss. Class is designed for people with prediabetes or those who have not been diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
The Chile Chats will be held the first Wednesday of the month, 10 to 11:30 a.m., Fabian García Research Center Classroom, 113 West University Avenue. Or online via Zoom - Meeting ID: 847 2251 5474.
Participation is free and open to anyone interested in learning about and discussing chile pepper production.
The Horsemanship Camp will be held July 14 - 17, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Equine Education Center, 750 Stewart Street.
The camp will help youth learn horsemanship skills and techniques in a safe and fun way! Online registration available! Fee is $350 per level; payable with a credit card or mailing a check.
The Hidalgo County Fair will be held Aug. 21 - 24.

The Finance and Friends Book Club will be held Sep. - Nov., 3 to 4 p.m., online via Zoom.
Book club will focus on money management and self-improvement and will cover 3 books. Three series to choose from with respective schedules below.
