The Live Your Dream Applications are now open!
Undergraduate female students who are the primary wage earner/source of financial support for their families (including children, spouse, siblings, and parents) are encouraged to apply! Students from the Las Cruces campus, as well as branch campuses, may apply.
The award can be used for tuition, books, transportation, child care, or any other expense associated with completing an undergraduate degree. Eight awards ranging from $1,500 to $2,500 will be given.

Provided by Soroptimist International of Las Cruces. Soroptimist International is a civic organization that seeks to improve the lives of women and girls through education and economic empowerment.
The Dissertation Defense for Simone Maina will be held Oct. 31, 9 a.m., Gerald Thomas Hall, Room 375 or via Zoom. ID: 84968757346.
Defense will examine three key research areas related to index-based insurance: (1) pastoral systems in both developed (the USA and Canada) and developing countries (Kenya and Ethiopia); (2) the welfare impacts of such insurance in the rangelands of northern Kenya; and (3) its effects on pastoral systems in northern Kenya. Supported by Nasa-Servir Program.
The 575 Food Fights will be held Mondays, 6 to 8 p.m., 100 West Café, Gerald Thomas Hall, Room 100W.
The culinary bracket style competition is back! Join us this Fall as local chefs, bakers, restaurant professionals, culinary, and hospitality students compete in a head-to-head secret ingredient battles!
