Water Management & Western Water Network Workshop

The Water Management and Western Water Network Workshop will be held Oct. 9, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Fabian Garcia Science Center, 113 West University Avenue.

The free workshop will focus on practical water management and conservation strategies for row crops, orchards, and horticultural crops, as well as crop diversification for semi-arid cropping systems. Lunch will be provided. Online registration available! Space is limited.

Urban Horticulture Symposium

The Urban Horticulture Symposium will be held Nov. 7, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Western Heritage Museum, 1 Thunderbird Circle.

Come learn about gardening in Southeast New Mexico! The five southeast Cooperative Extension Offices and their Extension Master Gardener volunteers have teamed up to bring you this regional event. There will be speakers on beekeeping, tree care, lawn maintenance, gardening with native plants, plus a plant sale, informational booths, and plant bingo! Online registration available!
