ACES Night Out will be held Aug. 18, 5 to 7 p.m., Gerald Thomas Hall, Auditorium, Room 194.
Inviting all freshman and transfer students! Join us to meet faculty, dept. heads, clubs and organizations, mentors and ambassadors. Building tours available to help find your class rooms, study areas, coffee and food stores, and more.
The Invasive Plant Short Course will be held Aug. 19 - 20, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This year's meeting will be Free for all participants, thanks to funding from NRCS.
In collaboration with Dr. Elise Gornish, University of Arizona Cooperative Extension and Dr. Leslie Beck, New Mexico State University Cooperative Extension.

Participation is free and open to anyone interested in learning about and discussing chile pepper production.

The Golf Scramble will be held Sep. 4, 8 a.m., NMSU Golf Course, 3000 Herb Wimberly Drive.
Registration includes breakfast, lunch, complimentary gift bag, and a chance to win additional prizes. Register for a team of four or a sponsorship. All proceeds go to student programs, travel, outreach and scholarships.
The Youth Contests at the NM Fairs, for public speaking or agriscience, will be held Sep. 12 - Oct. 9.
Online registration available! Fee is $5 for each entry.
The Gratitude Walk/Run will be held Sep. 19, 9:15 a.m. to Noon, College Drive, between Skeen Hall and Gerald Thomas Hall.
The family-friendly event includes a 5K and 1-mile fun run, along with music, entertainment, and activities for all ages. Free for children 12 and under, teams are welcome, free T-shirt to the first 200 participants to check in/pick up race bibs by Sep. 18, plus so much more.
The Southern NM State and Doña Ana County Fair will be held Sep. 30 - Oct. 4.
