The ALIRT Conference will be held Apr. 28 - 30, Socorro Convention Center, 1220 Hwy 60 West.
Training includes situational awareness regarding livestock disease, emergency response drills, movement challenges, etc. by invitation only! Online registration available! Deadline: Apr. 14.
The Gardening Made Simple Workshop will be held, every other Tuesday, Apr. 28 - May 26, 12 to 2 p.m., Socorro County Annex Building, 198 Neel Avenue.
Workshops are to guide beginning gardeners through the gardening process from start to finish. Online registration available!

The Central NM Poultry Health Workshop will be held Apr. 30, 5 to 7 p.m., Bernalillo Extension 4-H Center, 1510 Menaul Blvd Ext NW.
Join us for this free workshop where updates on the Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) will be provided, along with poultry biosecurity, and nutrition information. Refreshments will be provided. Online registration available! Deadline: Apr. 27 at 5 p.m.
The Ready, Set, GROW! Webinar Series for the year will be held May - Dec., 3 p.m., via Zoom.
With a surge in gardening questions and requests for gardening presentations the free gardening series is available to the public.

The Southern Regional Livestock School will be held June 3 - 5, Socorro County Fairgrounds Fairgrounds Road.
An educational event designed to teach youth about all things showing livestock. Online registration available! Fees are $150 for youth; payable with a credit card or mailing a check. Meals plans for adults and kids available. Deadline: Apr. 30 at 5 p.m.
The PSEP (Pesticide Safety Education Program) Pre-License Training will be held June, 3, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Bernalillo County Extension Office, 1510 Menaul Blvd. NW.
Free training for those interested in obtaining an NMDA pesticide applicator license. NOTE: This training is being provided to Tribe and Pueblo members only! Online registration available!
The AgriFuture Conference will be held June 15 - 17 at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Arts Center, 2401 12th Street NW.
Conference aims to connect, inform, and inspire the next generation of farmers, ranchers, and others in agriculture. There will be agricultural off-campus tours for experiential learning, educational speakers, industry networking sessions, and speed-networking rounds designed to connect you to industry professionals. Fee is $75; includes tours and meals.
The Get Fit Trainings will be held Aug. 25 - 27, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Guadalupe County Extension Office 244 South 4th Street, Suite 110.
In order for agents to offer the Extension Get Fit Program in their county, they must first complete the free fundamental exercise training. Once complete, agents will be eligible to participate in the Extension Get Fit yoga training, offered the next day. Online registration available!
