The Garden to Table to Pantry Workshop Series will be held Sep. 12 and 19, Bernalillo Community Museum, 118 Calle Malinche.
Free and open to the public. Registration is required.

The Trapping Pocket Gophers Workshop will be held Sep. 17, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Indigenous Farm Hub, 6400 Corrales Road.
Learn the steps of effective pocket gopher trapping from Extension Wildlife Specialist, Dr. Sam Smallidge! This is an outdoor workshop, so please dress accordingly. Online registration available! Free and open to the public. Space is limited to 25 participants and RSVP is required.
The Lavender Workshop will be held Oct. 6, 1 to 3:30 p.m., Sustainable Agriculture Science Center at Alcalde, 371 County Road 40.
Learn about lavender cultivars, essential oil extraction, quality assessment, and marketing opportunities through presentations by NMSU researchers and industry experts. Online registration is available! Space is limited to 30 participants and RSVP is required.
The Kitchen Creations: Santa Fe will be held Thursdays, Oct. 8 - 29, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center, Farmers Market Teaching Kitchen, 4801 Beckner Road.
Kitchen Creations teaches healthy meal planning and cooking to adults with diabetes and their adult family members/caregivers. Participants receive a manual and diabetes cookbooks. Online registration available!
The Bernalillo Bug Night and Free Movie Screening will be held Oct. 29, 5 to 8:30 p.m., El Zocalo Plaza Event Center, 264 South Camino del Pueblo.
Learn about the benefits of bugs! Free insect monster movie screening, food trucks and crafts, live insects from the Albuquerque BioPark, and chocolate covered crickets! Free and open to the public, but registration is required. Sponsored by Coronado Soil and Water Conservation District.
